Why can't we just get along... Board?
I bought longboards.
Santa Cruz
And
FUCK YEAH!
Can't wait for the snow to be gone. I might go to a parking garage and cruise a little.

I hate ignorance
I'm not saying I'm totally awesome and all knowing, but I can't stand ignorance. You know, the really stupid kind. (Duh!)

I'm home, at my parent's.
Tomorrow I'll go to the library, then hang out with friends, and go to all the skate shops.

Exam tomorrow
In politics.
I hope they ask about power, or media, because I'm not very good at the other subjects.

"Danoontje PRRR!"
It's from an old Dutch commercial for yoghurt. She says "Danoontje POWER!" When I was younger I always thought she said: "Danoontje PRRRRRRRR!!"

I've done it again.
I've done it again.
The thing I always do with blogs, diaries or journals. I create them, use them for a few days in a row and then forget completely about them. I actually did the same with my youtube channel where I was planning to make a lot of videos. In the end I only made one.
It's not really such a big deal if I forget this blog. It's not as if I have any readers (that I know of).
A friend of mine has a funny blog. All she does is posting pictures of random things, or post a video of a song she likes.
I think I'll copy her way of blogging. Would be a lot more fun, and it is also more fun to read/look at than other blogs. If you want to be a good blogger, I think you have to be really wise with words, and have really good opinions. Obviously I don't, so I'll just spam the internet with bullshit like I've always done.

A blog is for sharing opinions... Right?
That's what I always thought.
In Norway it's a huge hype with fashion blogs. Girls who take pictures of what they're wearing, and then post about their day. I can't really understand why that is such a popular concept, but hey, whatever floats your boat.
I have some acquaintances who have those kinds of blogs. Post pictures of what they're wearing, and then write about where they bought it. One in particular always does this, along with a huge rant about everything that's gone wrong in her life. I'd say 90% of her blog is complaining.
I guess reading someone else's blog is more fun than dealing with your own life, or maybe it's entertaining. I'm sure some people manage to make it sound entertaining. I'm also sure I don't.
I don't really think my blog is that much better. It started out as a way to keep track of my training schedule, and weight, but now it's more like a regular blog.
In my opinion vlogs are a lot more entertaining. One in particular stands out: Shaytards. It's about Shay Carl, a youtube celebrity, and his family. You're basically just watching what their family does every day. But Shay is extremely obnoxious, and his children are cute, which makes it fun to watch.

Forgot to blog
Yesterday I was planning to read a lot. I ended up watching Jared Diamond's documentary. It is actually very relevant to one of my subjects (global history), but I could've been reading.
In fact I ended up watching a movie with my friends, and totally forgetting the fact that I was supposed to work. Well, I didn't really know I was supposed to work, so how could I forget? My boss is a bit bad with communication. He asks me: "Can you work on friday the 23rd?" And I'll be like: "Sure, remind me of it later, otherwise I'll forget." Did I get a mail or a message? Well yes I did, 20 minutes before she shift started, when I was busy swimming. I don't bring my cellphone to the gym, so I didn't get the message. After I finished swimming a friend picked me up and we went to watch Hancock.
However, does he really expect me to just note things in my brain and automatically remember them? Anyone who knows me, will know that it is completely impossible for me to remember anything properly. Like blogging. I did think of it, but when I finally came home I spent two hours researching about longboards instead of taking a few minutes off to blog.
If I find something important, or exciting I'll remember, but working at the bar was neither. I don't get payed for it, so it takes a backseat to spending time with friends, or studying. I'm very good at blaming people, and this time I'm blaming him. He should've given us a schedule, like all the other bar-team leaders do.
But I didn't create a blog to complain, so I'll stop doing it now. Who wants to read about complaints anyway?

Unproductive days
Today I didn't really do anything.
Well, I studied, ate, and then finally went out of the house by 6 o'clock in the evening. I went to a meeting with some fellow students before going for a swim. The swim was somewhat disappointing. I don't think I swam more than a thousand meters. I don't think I was there for longer than half an hour. I somehow just didn't like being there today. Maybe it's because the swimming pool is pretty much empty when I go swimming, but today there were a lot of people. Also I could see dirt swimming around at the bottom of the pool. It grossed me out. A lot.
It does sounds like I've been a good student, but I've only read two chapters... Only 90 pages to go of this book. I mostly spend my days procrastinating, and optimistically thinking I'll be able to read everything on time when I'm sure I won't. I'll probably spend the whole night before the exam rushing through the books, and then oversleep for the actual exam. It wouldn't surprise me.

Walks
When I was younger I never liked going for walks. I was always forced into it by my parents, who then complained because I was a slow walker. But now that I only go on walks with my friends, it's a lot more fun.
In stead of going to the gym, I'm planning to go for a long walk. There's a nice 4,5 km walk through a forrest not too far from here. I'm currently trying to talk my friends into joining me. I don't really feel like walking alone. It's not that I'm afraid of the dark, I just don't like walking through it on my own...
I don't really like the gym. I can't stand running on a treadmill, and I never saw the point of biking inside, when you can bike outside (although that isn't currently possible due to icy roads).
I much prefer doing sports. There should be at least some fun in it. I wanted to join a volleyball team at the uni, but their trainings are on the exact same days, and times as swimming and climbing. I like both of those sports much better, so I had to choose. I might be joining a football team with the bar I work at. (There's this student bar, where I work for free. It's a lot of fun, even if I don't get paid.)
Well, I should get off my arse and go for that walk now.

A sour and sweet Monday
I just realized that it wasn't such a good idea to buy so much candy. I've just been for a weekend trip to Denmark, and I used to opportunity to buy cheap, and unique candy. It will ruin the whole eating healthy part of the plan, but I still want to keep up with the training. It shouldn't ruin it that much. I'll just hope the training balances out the candy... Maybe I should invite friends over, so it will be eaten up more quickly. Also the picture thing is something I probably won't put up in the blog. I don't think it's a good idea to post almost nude pictures of myself on the internet. If I manage to pull it off, I might make a before-after shot, but I doubt it. Even if this blog is more for myself, than anyone else, it's still public.
I overslept this morning, as I've done for like 4 Mondays in a row now. There's just something about Mondays. I try, I really do. I have two alarm clocks, and I use my cellphone, but I still overslept. I was supposed to have a course in global history this morning, from 08-10, but there's no point in going when you're an hour late.
I spent the morning reading history instead.
Despite the oversleeping, it was a good morning. I woke up to a layer of snow outside. It's still snowing. I love snow, although the downside is that I don't have any winter boots. I was going to buy some, but I was hoping for a sale of some kind, so I don't use too much money on boots. Money doesn't grow on trees, and all the boots I've looked at were really expensive.
Later today I'll be swimming. I swim with a group, and the trainer makes a plan for what we're supposed to swim. Swimming is good training, and I've always liked it. They say it's one of the only sports where you use so many muscles at the same time.

The Plan
Fuck the plan. I never stick to plans anyway.
Maybe it's something I should plan on doing.
Pun intended.
